Donation Requests
The Grizzly is a City of Mason owned facility privately operated by Recreational Management Services. The financial strength of the course is an important component to maintaining and enhancing this community asset. We appreciate the interest and support of the community in the course. Annually we are challenged with balancing our ability to build a sense of community through our operations while supporting charitable organizations requesting donations for goods and services provided by the golf course.
The Grizzly has established a program to provide charitable community donations. These donations are intended for use as raffle items or prizes that participants may receive through events organized by charitable organizations.
Eligible Organizations
The Grizzly’s intention is to support not-for-profit, tax-exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, including educational institutions and government agencies located in and serving Mason and Warren County, Ohio.
Community institutions and organizations that have an existing partnership with the City of Mason and/or support The Grizzly’s mission to enhance the quality of life in the community receive preferred consideration. As a municipally owned facility we are unable to provide donations to politically partisan programs, groups, or associations, or religious organizations.
Additional Information
- Requests made in person, by email, or by phone will be referred to the website.
- Requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the event date.
- Only one request per organization per calendar year will be considered.
Donations are generally limited to the following
Two (2) complimentary Grizzly Experience passes will be donated to qualifying organizations. Passes are issued as 18-hole rounds of play with golf cart a value of $110. Grizzly experience passes are valid Monday – Thursday, and weekends & Holidays after 12:00 pm.

Approved Donations
- Please allow sufficient time for processing due to the high volume of requests.
- Requests will be reviewed, and the organization’s representative will be notified if the donation is approved.
- Approved donations must be picked up from The Grizzly Pro Shop by the designated contact person.
